What Is A Cheek Filler?

Although it is made of the same gel-like substance as other temporary fillers used at Euphoria, filler used in the cheeks is generally much thicker than those used in the lips and for fine lines. The purpose of this treatment is generally to replace lost volume, to create a more sculpted cheekbone, or to lift skin in the mid-lower face. It can also be used to sculpt the jaw line. You can expect to get 12 months out of your cheek filler treatment before needing to re-treat, but this will vary from person to person.

Concerns that can be treated using a cheek filler include;

  • Hollowing around the temples and brows
  • Flattening of the mid face due to the effects of aging - bone resorption and fat-pad depletion result in volume loss in the mid cheek area
  • Jowls and deep folds in the lower face
  • Loss of volume and definition along the jaw line
  • Unbalanced appearance due to excessive volume loss
